Restore from iCloud BackUp

To restore from the iCloud, devices have to have the most recent software available.

1. You'll be prompted to go through the following setup steps:

· language selection

· region selection

· connect to a Wi-Fi network

· enable/disable location services

2. The next screen will give you the option to "Set Up as New iPhone," "Restore from iCloud Backup," or "Restore from iTunes Backup."

3. Choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and then sign in to iCloud using your Apple ID.

4. Tap on "Choose backup,” then choose from a list of available backups.

5. The phone will restore and then restart.

 

Restore from iTunes

The process of restoring from iTunes is the same on both PCs and Macs. To restore the iPhone from the computer with which it's normally synced follow the steps below:

1. On the phone you'll be prompted to go through the following setup steps:

· language selection

· region selection

· connect to a Wi-Fi network

· enable/disable location services

2. The next screen will give you the option to "Set Up as New iPhone," "Restore from iCloud Backup," or "Restore from iTunes Backup."
3. On your computer open iTunes.
4. Sync the phone with iTunes by either connecting with a USB cord or wirelessly.
5. Once your phone is recognized by iTunes, you'll have the option to "Set up as a new iPhone" or "Restore from this backup" with a drop down of available backups to the right. Select "Restore from this backup" and choose the correct backup from the drop down list.

6. iTunes will begin restoring the phone from the backup.

7. Once the phone has been restored, it will restart. Leave the phone connected until it appears in the iTunes window again. Your phone will be in pre-factory reset condition again.
